Chapter 13:

Fuuko is talking to Natsuki and Yumi at school, and says that Ruka is away again but he's left some food for Choro. Natsuki tells her to forget about it, he's probably just sulking about Occhan, and says that they can't be bothered every time by his habit of going off alone. Then Natsuki comments that Ruka's not going to go to England with Occhan, and Fuuko agrees, remembering Ruka saying that he can't take Occhan's care of him so far, and the question was whether he would move back with hi s family or start libing on his own. She thinks that Ruka's places are getting fewer, and wonders what he'll do.

Of course, Ruka is on a balloon, watching a small balloon float away. He wonders if it will keep going and float into space.
Back at school, Natsuki is still complaining about Ruka disappearing, saying it's always been a bad habit of his, and Fuuko thinks that Natsuki worries about Ruka in his own way. Then Natsuki cheers up because Yumi gives him an MD she dubbed for him. Fuuko wishes Ruka was there, because being with a couple as happy as Natsuki and Yumi is tough for one person to handle. She recalls that Natsuki doesn't hear well our of his left ear, and notices that Yumi always stays on Natsuki's right side. Then she thinks of something and asks them when their power started to disappear. Yumi says it was after their big fight on the Okinawa trip when they got everything sorted out, and Fuuko thinks that from that day, Natsuki and Yumi's love really became true. Fuuko becomes very happy, saying that she's a genius, and it has nothing to do with your age or becoming an adult or anything. . She thinks that she really wants to tell Ruka, and goes jumping out the window. Natsuki wonders if she even has a clue where Ruka is, and Yumi says she thinks that wherever he is, Fuuko will be able to find him, because that's her special power.
Fuuko rides her bike to Ruka's apartment but he's not there, and comments to Choro that he's sad too because recently Ruka hasn't paid much attention to him. She looks above and notices a blimp.
Ruka is floating above Nanyou Sea Park. He realizes that his cell phone's power was off, and as soon as he turns it back on gets a call from Occhan. Occhan says the unmanned blimp is going to land soon, and tells Ruka not to get found. Ruka says it will be fine, and tells Occhan not to mess up his last job in Japan. Occhan asks Ruka if he's still undecided about going home or not, and when Ruka says no, he's decided, Occhan asks him what he's been worrying about lately. Ruka says he doesn't know. He's fixed everything with Natsuki and Yumi, he's finally going home, and everything should e the way it was, but somehow, something's missing. Occhan suggests he use his own special 'gravity' to figure it out, what direction his feelings are being pulled in, what they're being pulled to, and whatever's there is what he wants. Ruka thinks of it, and thinks of 'who' they're being pulled to...and slowly becomes aware of a voice calling him...
Fuuko is on the blimp and calls out to Ruka(She caught a balloon to get onto it). The wind blows strongly, and she notices that the blimp is floating near the ferris wheel...it's going to hit, but Fuuko jumps to the ferris wheel, does a super-gravity kick to the blimp, sending it flying the other way. Unfortunately, this leaves Fuuko in midair, and she starts to fall...but is saved by Ruka sliding down the balloon string to grab her. Underneath, people don't notice the two because Occhan released a bunch of balloons as camouflage.
On the balloon again, Fuuko feels embarrassed, but Ruka just laughs, saying she's always doing crazy stuff, and she had on polka dot underwear again(he caught her by her foot). Fuuko bops him one and then tries to tell him the secret to his power - it has nothing to do with adults, it's just how unsure and insecure people feel about other people. That's why Natsuki and Yumi used to have the power, and Natsuki more because he was anxious about Yumi's feelings, but when they sorted things out at Okinawa, the insecurity disappeared and caused their power to fade as well. Then Fuuko tries to figure out what will happen with Ruka when he has a strong connection with someone and feels secure, but can't and gets confused again. Ruka says he doesn't care about how his power works really. Fuuko mentions that they're above the ocean now, and worries about getting back, and Ruka, looking at her, says he figured out something too, something more important-he loves Fuuko! He says he's really happy loving her.
Back on the ground, they're holding hands, and Fuuko is just silent and blushing, and Ruka says that if he's with her, he wouldn't even be afraid to fly out into space. Fuuko smiles and agrees, and they kiss while balloons fly away around them. Ruka comments that the sky is polka-dotted, and Fuuko bops him one, and thinks that she's finally caught him, he's not going to float off somewhere alone anymore, right?...
At school, Ruka looks for Choro to feed him, and sees him on the roof. He asks him if he's become unable to get down by himself. After getting him, Ruka is walking down the side of the building and says that Choro's become pretty used to humans, so he can come and live with him. Ruka suddenly loses his footing ans steps onto the ground, with normal gravity. Then Fuuko calls him from nearby, saying class is starting soon, and Ruka looks at her for a second. Then he smiles, and says it's nothing, thinking that it's okay, because there's a pull between them that will never disappear. THE END!!!
