Chapter 4:

A lot of this chapter is taken up with Fuuko floating away with the balloon. Ruka follows her, but can't really do anything. Fuuko still has Yumi's cell phone, and gets a call from Natsuki, who's waiting for Yumi. She cries for help to him, and then Yumi, who has arrived, takes the phone and tells Fuuko she's going to call Ruka, he'll surely do something. Natsuki doesn't look too happy at Yumi's confidence in Ruka. Eventually, Fuuko figures that she can get back down by thinking of adding her weight back on, but does it too fast, and starts dropping into the sea. However, she's caught by Ruka, who has used some balloons to ascend as well, but they end up falling into the water anyways. Fuuko is worried that Ruka will want her to stay away from him again, and promises to be more careful in the future. She asks him not to tell her to stop being friends with him, and Ruka, touched, says he won't. They meet Natsuki and Yumi, and they go to a diving shop nearby(it's owned by Natsuki's friend) to dry off. Fuuko spots a photo of them all in diving and swimming gear, and is happy to see a new side of Ruka(he does look cute in that wetsuit^_-) Yumi notices some seaweed in Ruka's hair, and goes to take it out, but he flinches away and gets it himself. Then Natsuki looks upset, and Fuuko notices that the atmosphere has gotten heavy, when she remembers she had Yumi's cell phone, and brings it out totally wet and ruined. That breaks the tension. Later Ruka and Natsuki talk about how Fuuko seems to be a natural at using the power, and Ruka says she's funny. Natsuki thinks how dense Ruka is not to notice her feelings.
At school the next day, Fuuko corners the fennec fox and tries to get close, but only scares him. For a second Fuuko thinks that someone was watching, and then Ruka comes in time to calm the fox down. They talk, and Fuuko finds out that Ruka doesn't live with his family, even though they're in the same city. Ruka doesn't seem to want to explain, and Fuuko thinks that probably he's told Natsuki and Yumi, because they seem so close. Then she recalls something, and though she has a bad feeling about it, she asks if Ruka likes Yumi. He seems surprised, and asks how she could tell...!

The last panels show someone watching them, and discussing the fennec fox, commenting that though it would have to be illegal, they could sell it for a really high price...
